OGSure offers both single-trip and annual multi-trip cover.
Single-trip cover
Single-trip cover is designed for one continuous trip up to a maximum of 30 days.
If you are planning a holiday, cruise, or trip and only need cover for that journey, this is often the simplest option.
Annual multi-trip cover
Annual multi-trip cover is designed for people who travel more than once a year.
It can be a convenient option if you like having one policy in place rather than buying separate cover each time you travel.
Our annual multi-trip policies allow trips of up to 90 days, but for travellers over 75, the maximum trip length is 60 days.Cruise holidays, longer trips, and senior travel
Senior travel is not one thing.
Some people want a week in the sun. Others want a cruise, a longer stay, or a more ambitious holiday.
OGSure is designed to support that reality.
Our policy includes cruise ship evacuation cover, and can also work well for longer trips where you want clear cover and quick support if something goes wrong.
If you are planning a cruise, you may also want to visit:
Pre-existing medical conditions
Many senior travellers have medical history, so it is important to understand this part before you buy.
You can still buy OGSure if you have a pre-existing medical condition. However, claims arising directly or indirectly from a pre-existing medical condition are excluded.
This means OGSure may still help with unrelated sudden and unforeseen events during your trip, but it is not designed to cover medical issues linked to existing conditions.
Where can seniors travel with OGSure?
All OGSure policies are anywhere-to-anywhere cover, making it perfect for expats living abroad. However, cover still depends on two things:
- your country of residence
- your destination
Your country of residence is usually the country where you normally live or work for more than three consecutive months. it is where you would like to be repatriated to.
Your destination also matters, because travel insurance is arranged within geographical limits and policy terms.
To check both, use our Where We Cover page.Help when you need it most
If something serious happens while you are abroad, you do not want to be searching through paperwork or wondering who to call.
OGSure includes 24/7 emergency assistance. In serious medical cases, including hospitalisation or repatriation, the emergency assistance team should be contacted as soon as possible so they can help guide the next steps.
In many hospitalisation cases, direct payment can be arranged locally, subject to the policy terms.
