Can I buy OGSure from my country of residence?

Your eligibility to buy OGSure depends partly on where you live.

Before you buy cover, check that your country of residence is eligible. If it is not, you may not be able to buy a policy, even if your destination would otherwise be covered.

Not sure what “country of residence” means?

Your country of residence is usually the country where you normally live or work for more than three consecutive months. 

It should generally be the country you would return to as your main home, including if you needed to be medically repatriated.

Is my destination covered?

Once you know you are eligible to buy cover, the next step is to check your destination.

Travel insurance is not just about where you live. It also depends on where you are travelling, and in some cases, which region your destination falls into.

If your trip includes more than one country, make sure your policy covers the full journey.

How to choose the right travel region

Some travel insurance policies are arranged by region rather than by individual country.

That means it is important to think about your full itinerary, not just your main destination.

If your trip includes stopovers, connecting travel, or several countries, make sure the cover you choose matches the full route.
