• whether you can buy cover based on your country of residence
• whether your destination is covered

It is a simple starting point to help you choose the right policy and avoid surprises later.

Travel insurance for trips almost anywhere

OGSure is designed to cover travellers heading to destinations around the world, subject to eligibility, the policy wording, and the details shown on your quote and policy certificate.

In most cases, checking where we cover is simple: make sure you enter every country you will visit or travel through when getting a quote, and check that your trip does not include one of the excluded countries listed below.

Countries we cannot cover

OGSure cannot provide cover for travel to, or claims from, the following countries and territories:

• Afghanistan, Belarus, Burkina Faso, Central African Republic
• Chad, Cuba, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Libya, Mali, Mauritania,
• Niger, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan,
• Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen

If your trip starts from or includes one of these countries, including as a stopover or transit destination, we cannot cover you.

Single Trip cover

For Single Trip policies, you will be asked to enter the country or countries you are travelling to.

Please include every country you will visit or travel through during your trip, not just your main destination. This helps make sure your quote reflects your full journey.

Annual Multi-Trip cover

For Annual Multi-Trip policies, you will choose an area of cover rather than entering every individual trip for the year.

The available areas of cover are:

• Europe
• Worldwide excluding USA, Canada and the Caribbean
• Worldwide

Choose the area that matches your expected travel plans for the year. If you are not sure which area to choose, please contact us before buying.

Before you buy, check these five things

Before buying travel insurance, make sure you have checked:

• your country of residence
• your destination or destinations
• your travel dates
• the type of policy you need
• any important age limits, trip limits, or exclusions that may apply

Can I buy OGSure if I do not live in an eligible country?

Make sure your policy covers the full trip, including all destinations and any relevant stopovers.

What if I am not sure which region to choose?

Does this page replace the policy wording?
