Where we cover
Planning your next trip?
This page will help you check two important things before you buy OGSure travel insurance:
- whether you can buy cover based on your country of residence
- whether your destination is covered
It is a simple starting point to help you choose the right policy and avoid surprises later.
Can I buy OGSure from my country of residence?
Your eligibility to buy OGSure depends partly on where you live.
Before you buy cover, check that your country of residence is eligible. If it is not, you may not be able to buy a policy, even if your destination would otherwise be covered.
If you are unsure, please contact us before buying and we will be happy to help.
Check your country of residence

Search for your country of residence
Start typing and we will show whether OGSure can offer cover for residents of that country.
Not sure what “country of residence” means?
Your country of residence is usually the country where you normally live or work for more than three consecutive months.
It should generally be the country you would return to as your main home, including if you needed to be medically repatriated.
Is my destination covered?
Once you know you are eligible to buy cover, the next step is to check your destination.
Travel insurance is not just about where you live. It also depends on where you are travelling, and in some cases, which region your destination falls into.
If your trip includes more than one country, make sure your policy covers the full journey.

How to choose the right travel region
Some travel insurance policies are arranged by region rather than by individual country.
That means it is important to think about your full itinerary, not just your main destination.
If your trip includes stopovers, connecting travel, or several countries, make sure the cover you choose matches the full route.
If you are not sure which region to select, please contact us before buying.
Before you buy, check these five things
Before buying travel insurance, make sure you have checked:
- your country of residence
- your destination or destinations
- your travel dates
- the type of policy you need
- any important age limits, trip limits, or exclusions that may apply
This page is here to help, but it does not replace the policy wording.
