OGSure is travel insurance for sudden and unforeseen events. It is not designed to cover everything that might go wrong.
For example, cover may not apply for:
- claims linked directly or indirectly to pre-existing medical conditions
- trips longer than the duration shown on your policy
- events that were known or foreseeable before you bought cover
- activities or sports that are not covered by the policy
- travel to excluded destinations
- costs you cannot evidence with the required documents
- situations excluded by the policy wording

What does anywhere-to-anywhere travel insurance mean?
Anywhere-to-anywhere travel insurance means your journey does not have to begin in the UK.
Eligible travellers can arrange cover from their usual country or territory of residence for travel to most international destinations.
How do I choose my country of residence?
Choose the country or territory where you normally live or work for more than three consecutive months.
It should normally be your main home and the country to which you would return, including if medical repatriation became necessary.
Can I use OGSure for travel within the Caribbean?
Cover may be available for journeys between Caribbean islands and territories, provided you are travelling outside your usual country of residence and the trip meets the policy conditions.

OGSure can cover travel to North America under the appropriate geographical area.

Can I travel to Europe?

Are there destinations OGSure cannot cover?
Yes.
Some destinations are excluded under the policy, and cover cannot be provided where doing so would breach sanctions, laws or regulatory restrictions.
You should check the latest policy wording and travel advice before your journey.
Can I buy annual travel insurance?
Annual multi-trip cover may be available, depending on your age, country of residence and travel plans.
The quote journey will show the available options.
Does OGSure cover pre-existing medical conditions?
Claims arising directly or indirectly from pre-existing medical conditions are generally excluded.
You may still purchase a policy, but you should understand how this exclusion may affect you before buying.
Does OGSure cover cruises?
OGSure policies include cruise ship evacuation cover, subject to the applicable benefit limit and policy conditions.
Other insured events, such as emergency medical treatment, baggage problems and travel disruption, may also be covered during a cruise.
What happens if I have a medical emergency abroad?
The OGSure Emergency Assistance Centre is available 24 hours a day.
You or someone acting on your behalf must contact the assistance team as soon as possible if you require inpatient treatment, hospitalisation, medical evacuation or repatriation.
Which currency will my policy use?
Your quote will show the currency applying to your policy.
OGSure currently has separate GBP and USD policy wordings, with different benefit limits and excesses.
